Frequently Asked Questions
How do I properly clean the beeswax bread bag?
Hand wash with cold water and natural dishwashing detergent only. Avoid chemical cleaners, high heat, and tumble drying. Hang or lay flat to dry completely before folding and storing.
Can I put the bag directly in the freezer?
Yes, the BeeBredix is fully freezer-safe. Ensure your bread is completely cooled before sealing and placing in the freezer to avoid condensation forming inside the bag.
How long will the bread stay fresh at room temperature?
Stored in a cool place at room temperature between 68 and 77°F, your bread will stay fresh for approximately three days with the beeswax seal keeping moisture locked in.
Does the beeswax lining wear off with repeated use?
The organic beeswax lining is designed for long-lasting durability through many uses. With proper cold-water washing and gentle care, the lining maintains its effectiveness over time.
Can I use this for bread other than sourdough?
Absolutely. The generous 17 x 12.6 inch size makes it suitable for all types of bread including sourdough, baguettes, sandwich loaves, and other homemade baked goods.
Is the buckle closure secure enough to prevent the bread from drying out?
Yes, the buckle creates a thorough seal that effectively prevents moisture from escaping, keeping your bread soft and fresh significantly longer than an unsealed cloth bag.
What temperature should the bag be stored at when not in use?
Store your BeeBredix in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources when not in use to preserve the integrity of the beeswax lining between uses.
