Frequently Asked Questions
How does the progressive warning system work?
The system detects when your pet approaches the boundary, first emitting gentle sound warnings. If your pet continues forward, mild static correction begins. After three correction cycles, the system automatically stops preventing over-correction.
Can I use this system with small dogs?
Absolutely! The adjustable collar fits various neck sizes while the customizable correction levels accommodate different dog sizes and temperaments. Start with gentler settings for smaller or more sensitive pets, adjusting as training progresses.
What happens if my dog runs through the boundary?
The progressive correction system activates when pets approach boundaries, but determined dogs may still breach perimeters initially. Consistent training over several weeks teaches respect for boundaries, with most dogs learning containment within 2-4 weeks.
How do I find the right boundary size?
Start with smaller boundaries during initial training, gradually expanding as your pet learns respect for warning signals. The 100 adjustment levels allow precise incremental expansion matching your pet's training progress and property requirements.
Will batteries need frequent replacement?
No, the built-in rechargeable battery lasts weeks on single charge with quick 2-3 hour recharging time. The low battery alert provides advance warning, allowing convenient recharging before power depletion ensuring continuous protection.
Can the collar get wet during swimming?
Indeed! The IP67 waterproof rating protects against complete submersion, allowing your pet to swim, play in rain, or splash through puddles freely. The collar maintains full functionality during and after water exposure without damage.
How many pets can I add later?
The system supports unlimited receiver collars without transmitter limitations. Simply purchase additional collars, use quick code matching to pair with your existing transmitter, and train new pets using the same system infrastructure already established.
Is professional installation required for setup?
No, the intuitive digital display and quick code matching enable DIY installation in minutes. Simply position the transmitter centrally, adjust boundary settings through the control panel, pair receiver collars, and begin training immediately without professional assistance.
